Caroline delivered some fantastic training in Seoul; the staff enjoyed it, found it really useful and have given extremely positive feedback. They are already asking when she’s coming back! It was an absolute delight to work with Caroline who designed the British Embassy’s ‘Lift as you Grow’ Mentoring Programme and delivered introductory workshops for our cohort of mentors and mentees.  She laid a fabulous foundation to get our groups prepared and we are truly appreciative of her and Sameera’s engaging nature and style of connecting with respective audiences in both English and Arabic. Caroline was fantastic at listening and understanding what I wanted to say in the personal statement for my Master’s application; she helped me to re-word my writing so it was concise and clear while still enabling me to say how I genuinely felt. She helped me to question and evaluate why I wanted to study the Master’s I had chosen. Also, whilst going through my personal statement, Caroline helped develop my writing skills by explaining how to structure effectively and use the appropriate grammar. The Creative Writing programme which I took part in last year with a group of people in a number of different countries was both enjoyable and informative. The fact that it was online made it accessible as I was travelling a lot. A range of genres were covered and I particularly liked the structure of the sessions which allowed for discussion, focus on a particular aspect of writing and time to ‘give it a go’. Caroline created a good rapport with the class making it a safe and encouraging environment in which to share ideas. I had wanted to begin writing but I am a natural procrastinator; this was a good way to kick-start my writing journal. Thank you!

As an older person, writing my first book, I was fairly anxious about ‘returning to school’ with Caroline (who had been recommended to me). I need not have worried. She was very welcoming and put me at my ease. That said, she is very competent and sensitively straight talking – if you don’t want to know what she thinks then don’t ask her. Her delivery methods were enjoyable and interactive. I shall be attending again.

The GCSE tuition sessions I had online with Caroline were very helpful as we covered aspects of both the Literature and Language courses. Lessons were very engaging and Caroline delivers in a unique way incorporating many different activities as well as video clips and shared documents. It was fun and improved my understanding. I enjoyed all aspects of the tuition sessions and, in particular, looking through past questions together and working through written responses which I could then use as a template for the future which made other questions much easier to understand and answer. My final GCSE grades for Literature and Language exceeded my expectations.

Caroline has tutored two of my children over the past 4 years. She has taught GCSE and A-Level subjects including English Literature, English Language and Theatre Studies. With great knowledge and skill she got my children through their stressful exam periods and always kept her wonderful sense of humour. A top class tutor who has an excellent rapport and belief in her students which is evident in the great results achieved.

Caroline has been homeschooling our two daughters for over a year for IGCSE English Literature and Language as well as Geography and General Studies. She is an outstanding teacher who has the perfect balance between working very hard but at the same time making it fun. In the past, My youngest daughter disliked English as a subject and now it is one of her favourites. I give Caroline all credit for this turn around and recommend her highly.

Ms. Caroline is a professional and motivating tutor. I enjoy her online classes very much. She has great experience of teaching on all levels from beginner to advanced. Most importantly, she helped me in a very short time, to improve my overall level of English and my vocabulary. Her classes are both efficient and fun!

I had a wonderful time as Caroline’s student. She was more like a sweet, fun aunt tutoring me rather than a strict, boring teacher. Before I met her I had got a D on my English Language A-Level and when I tried for it again after taking classes for six months with Caroline I got an A! She knew exactly what to teach me with her guidance everything turned out really well. I learnt a lot and most importantly I enjoyed learning from her. My 10 year old son has been with Caroline for almost one year now. We found Caroline initially through her life coaching sessions. My son quickly learnt to trust Caroline (she has a lovely easy going personality) and verbalise his feelings. More recently he’s started having Geography/History lessons with Caroline.
