1. Getting to Grips with the Assessment Criteria

This booklet is useful for all ICF coaches.  It provides a breakdown of the core competencies, ACC BARS, PCC markers and MCC BARS so that coaches are able to locate key information in one place, especially for coaches working towards their next credential, or for professional development purposes.  In addition, there are hyperlinks to useful ICF videos for each competency group as well as the ICF Code of Ethics.

2. Key MCC Information: BARS and Minimum Skills Requirements

Designed for current PCC coaches who are working towards their MCC credential, this guide summarises the MCC BARS and the key skills being assessed in performance evaluations.  It also includes a breakdown of the ICF minimum skill requirements for MCC highlighting what is required for a pass, as well as what constitutes a fail.

3. Key ACC Information: BARS and Minimum Skills Requirements

This guide, for new coaches beginning their journey toward the ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential, provides a clear overview of the requirements for ACC level preformance evaluations.  It highlights the key skills that are evaluated and provides a simplified breakdown of the minimum skill requirements for ACC-level coaching—outlining what is needed to achieve a passing score, as well as common pitfalls that can result in a non-passing evaluation.
